How to Install Custom Recovery on Android Without ROOT in 1 Click for Beginners

Different smartphones may have different methods to install custom recovery. We will give you a full tutorial to flash a custom recovery on any Android Smartphone.

NOTE: We recommand you to back up your data before you begin.

Requirements:

  1. Unlocked Bootloader
  2. PC

Steps to Install Custom Recovery:

Step 1: Install driverss on your computer to recognize your device properly. Download from the below links.

Step 2: Download Custom Recovery Installer Tool, which is made by us then Unzip it. With the help of this tool, you can flash any custom recovery with a single click. No commands are required here. The download link is given below.

Step 3: Download custom recovery which you want to install on your Smartphone. Search Custom recovery name along with your Device name. Example: For POCO M2 Pro, Search “Download Orange Fox Recovery POCO M2 Pro”.

Step 4: If downloaded custom recovery is a .zip then extract it then you find a recovery.img file. If the Downloaded Custom Recovery is already a .img file then copy this .img file and paste it on “Custom Recovery Installer Tool’s Folder”. Make sure that the .img file is named as recovery.img

Step 5: Put your phone in “USB Debugging Mode” by navigating Settings > About Phone > MIUI Version 7 times (until developer confirmation) > Back out to settings > Developer options > Check USB Debugging.

Step 6: Boot your Smartphone into Fastboot Mode by Long Pressing Volume Down + Power Button at same time.

Step 7: Open twrp-installer.bat file from the Custom recovery Installer Tool Folder, then Click Enter Button. It will Install The custom recovery Automaticallly, If you want to boot your phone into Custom recovery from your PC then again Click Enter Button.

Hurray!!! You have succesfully installed Custom Recovery on your Smartphone.
