To know that, This article will be divided into 3 cases:

  • In the 1st Case, we will be using both the Jio SIMs.
  • In the 2nd Case , we will be using both the Non – Jio SIMs.
  • In the 3rd Case, we will be using 1 Jio SIM and 1 Non-Jio SIM.

So, let us get to know How to use any other SIM in JIO Phone Next

Case 1 – Using both Jio SIMs

After inserting both the Jio Sims, surprisingly, you can use both the Sims for making Calls, Cellular Data and SMS. It is henced proved that Jio Phone Next supports dual 4G and also, there is no 3G support which is obvious, as, in 2021, there will be hardly anyone sticking to 3G.

Case 2 – Using both Non-JIO SIM

After inserting both the Non-Jio SIM, it shows a message indicating that you need to insert ATLEAST 1 JIO SIM or else you will lose the connection. So this case is not successful, but what will happen if we insert 1 Jio SIM and 1 Non-Jio Sim? We will find out exactly this in the 3rd Case.

Case 3 – Using 1 Jio Sim and Non Jio Sim

This one is conditional, If you want to use a Jio SIM and a Non-Jio SIM, you would be able to do that but the only Condition is, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE NON-JIO SIM FOR INTERNET/ MOBILE DATA but you can use it for Calls and SMS. For Mobile Data, you have only one option and that is to use JIO SIM itself.

Conclusion:

  • Case 1 – You can use both Jio SIM at one time for Calls, Internet and SMS.
  • Case 2 – You cannot use both Non-Jio SIM at one time.
  • Case 3 – You can use a Jio SIM and a Non-Jio SIM at one time, but you will not be able to use the Non-Jio SIM for Internet, but you can use it for Calls and SMS.
